Then: Temple Emanu-El was founded in 1963 in the small coastal town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Now: Today, Temple Emanu-El is a growing, thriving community in a booming city.
Family: Temple Emanu-El has approximately 145 family/single/associate memberships. In January 2003 we welcomed Rabbi Avi and Mira Perets and their family to our Temple family.
There are over 40 children in our Sunday/Hebrew school. The new Rosen Education Center was completed in January, 2002 and we have already had many happy events there!
We offer monthly family services, holiday activities, education for adults and children, weekly game nights, Sisterhood events, and much, much more.
